About

Hi. Welcome! I'm Shannon. I'm a Registered Nutritional Consultant, Mindfulness Meditation Coach and Yoga Teacher, with 20 years experience helping people achieve their best health. I'm a Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, freelance writer and public speaker. You can learn about my food philosophy here. I'm a Certified Meditation Teacher/Trainer with Unified Mindfulness and teach a straightforward and effective style of meditation that anyone can master - really!

A little more about me...I've been a faculty member of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, for whom I've written curriculum and workbooks, and I've been a Guest Lecturer in Nutrition at The International School of Brussels, Belgium. In 2016 I was selected as an Ambassador for Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, a global campaign to provoke debate and inspire positive, meaningful change in the way our children access, consume and understand food. I also have a certificate in Sustainability from the University of Illinois Chicago-Urbana and I'm dedicated to understanding the connection between our food system and climate change and to helping people take meaningful action in their daily lives to help put an end to global warming.
